So you want to play the drums?
Well you have come to the right place!
Cory is a Lancaster based drum teacher who teaches students of all ages, ranging from 8 to 78 years old (79? Older? No a problem at all either!). Cory has been drumming and playing actively for over 10 years and has studied under notable percussionists Jim Love, Bob Nowak, Danny Mark, Jabin Baxter,Larry Marshall and Dave Lazorcik. As a Music Recording and Music Performance major at Lebanon Valley College, he learned to hone in on the physical techniques, along with the rudimental and pedagogical systems of percussion. This has played a huge role in helping him develop as a player in the studio, his freelance gigging work, and especially in his teachings. Cory has a passion for teaching drums that starts by building a strong foundation and continues by working with students towards their own personal goals as they develop into not only drummers but musicians. In addition to fundamentals, technique, rudiments, aural skills, grooves, and fills, Cory teaches drum set across all genres of music as well as marching percussion. Questions? Ready to get started?
